Data Scientist, Client Facing (Forward Deployed Data Scientist)

We at Unique AI are building a generative AI platform that financial institutions trust with high-stakes work: finance-grade in its reliability, auditability, and security. Banks, asset managers, and hedge funds use our platform to put LLM-based agents to work inside real workflows — investment research, client advisory, risk, and compliance. Our mission is to augment financial professionals, not replace them: AI takes on the repetitive and routine so people can spend their time on judgment, clients, and performance. We are looking for a Forward Deployed Data Scientist (FSI Enterprise Solutions), who is passionate about working directly with clients to develop AI Agents using Unique AI’s SDK.

Responsibilities

• Spend time with clients, enabling them to maximize the value of our platform while providing hands-on support and expertise
• Be the primary technical point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth integration and adoption of Unique’s GenAI solutions while helping them build AI Agents using our SDK
• Collaborate closely with internal product and engineering teams to tailor solutions to client-specific requirements

Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years of experience as a data scientist
• Hands-on experience with LLMs: including tool calling and low-level experimentation beyond frameworks, as well as prompt engineering for customer use cases
• Production GenAI delivery: demonstrated experience designing, deploying, operating and evaluating LLM-based applications in production environments, including agentic systems with tool calling and orchestration
• History of successfully delivering projects for clients: translating customer requirements into tailored solutions
• Industry expertise: expertise in financial services environments (private banking, wealth/ asset management, insurance) is a plus
• Languages: English (French and/ or German is a plus)
• Education: Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
