The Scuola universitaria professionale della Svizzera italiana (SUPSI) is offering positions as Assistenti Bachelor in formazione Master MSE in Data Science at the Istituto Dalle Molle di studi sull’intelligenza artificiale (IDSIA USI-SUPSI) of the Dipartimento tecnologie innovative (DTI) based in Lugano. Degree of occupation of 62.50%.

Service entry October 1, 2025 or date to be agreed.

Responsibilities and activities

Collaboration in projects in the field of:

• Data mining
• Machine learning & deep neural networks
• Algorithms and optimization
• Robotics

Requirements

• Attendance of the MSE Master.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
• Multidisciplinary research interests in the areas of the Data Science training profile.
• Solid knowledge of methodologies and programming languages such as C++, Java, Python.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Operational knowledge of the English language, spoken and written, is required.
