Description

We are seeking a highly accomplished and results oriented Senior Account Executive with a proven track record of closing large, complex enterprise software deals. You will play a key role in driving Squirro’s expansion and helping establish us as the world’s leading GenAI platform for enterprises. Join our fast-growing international scale-up and lead strategic accounts across continental Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Territory & Pipeline Ownership: Own and execute a strategic territory plan focused on Continental Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg, France, and Italy), building and converting a strong pipeline of enterprise opportunities.
  • Enterprise Sales Execution: Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from qualification through contract close, consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • C-Level Engagement & Relationship Management: Cultivate and expand relationships with C-suite and senior business decision-makers across target accounts.
  • Value-Based Sales & Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Business Development, Solution Engineering, and internal teams to execute tailored, value-based sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Account Management & Growth: Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, driving retention, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Market Awareness & Positioning: Stay informed on competitive landscape and emerging technologies to effectively position Squirro as a trusted solution.
  • Sales Operations & Forecasting: Maintain accurate CRM data, manage pipeline health, and provide reliable forecasts and activity reporting.

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of quota-carrying experience in enterprise software sales
  • Proven track record of closing complex, consultative deals
  • Strong pipeline generation and territory management capabilities
  • Experience engaging with C-level stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Experience with value-based and consultative selling approaches
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in business contexts
  • Fluency in German and English (required)
  • Industry experience in Financial Services, Government, or Manufacturing preferred
  • Interest in AI, GenAI, Machine Learning, and Data Science
  • Ideally, you also have:
    • Experience selling Enterprise Search, GenAI, or Data Analytics platforms
    • Additional European language (e.g. French , Italian)
    • Degree (BA / MA / MBA or equivalent experience)
    • Willingness to travel up to 50%
