Senior AI Automation Product Manager
We are looking for a Senior AI Automation Product Manager to define and build Nexthink's next-generation automation capabilities. This is a 0-to-1 product role — you will own the vision, design, and delivery of a new automation framework built for both traditional IT workflows and AI-driven, agentic scenarios. The role sits at the heart of Nexthink's platform strategy. IT teams rely on Nexthink to detect and resolve employee experience issues at scale. Automation is what turns that detection into action. You will define what that action looks like in an AI-first world — designing a flexible, extensible automation engine that integrates with ITSM tools, endpoint management systems, and emerging AI agents. This is a technically demanding role that requires both product vision and hands-on execution. You will work closely with engineering, architecture, and key feature teams across the Nexthink platform to turn complex technical capabilities into experiences that enterprise IT teams genuinely adopt and that deliver measurable value within months.
What You Will Do
- Define and drive the roadmap for Nexthink's AI Automation platform, aligned with customer needs, business priorities, and platform direction.
- Build a deep understanding of how enterprise IT teams automate work today, through customer discovery, field engagement, and hands-on research — and translate that into a clear, opinionated product vision.
- Design an automation framework that works across traditional IT workflows and AI-based, agentic scenarios — flexible, extensible, and built for scale.
- Identify and prioritise concrete use cases in close collaboration with customers and key feature teams across the platform.
- Work closely with engineering, architecture, and design to deliver reliable, scalable, and intuitive automation capabilities in fast, iterative release cycles.
- Translate complex technical topics — orchestration engines, trigger frameworks, APIs, AI agent integration — into clear product requirements, priorities, and trade-offs.
- Partner with customer-facing teams to drive real adoption in customer environments, measuring impact and iterating based on evidence.
- Define and track metrics to measure adoption, automation effectiveness, and business value delivered to customers.
Core competencies
- AI-first mindset. You know how to build AI-native products — not AI as a feature bolted on, but AI as the foundation. You have strong judgment about where AI creates genuine value vs. where it adds noise, and you can design products that leverage LLMs and automation agents in practical, scalable ways.
- Product sense. You are comfortable starting from a blank page. You can structure ambiguous problem spaces, develop a clear product vision, and make confident decisions with incomplete information. You have done this before.
- Use-case and business orientation. You think in customer outcomes, not features. You are energised by discovery — speaking directly with customers, understanding their workflows, and building products that solve real, pressing problems in IT operations.
- Technical depth. You are comfortable going deep into technical subjects — APIs, orchestration engines, trigger frameworks, backend architectures — and working closely with engineering teams to make sound product decisions. You are not afraid to create automations yourself, deep dive into systems and APIs, and get your hands dirty. You write clear, detailed specs.
- Communication. You explain complex technical and product concepts clearly to both engineering and business audiences. You write well, speak with conviction, and can align diverse stakeholders around a shared direction.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS company, ideally in enterprise software or a platform / infrastructure domain.
- Proven experience building products at scale — understanding how design decisions in platform and framework products affect customers, partners, and downstream teams.
- Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities, with disciplined judgment about trade-offs and what not to build.
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience, with a strong technical foundation.
- Professional-level English, spoken and written.
Nice to have
- Experience with endpoint technologies, device management, or IT automation products.
- Working knowledge of ITSM tools, practices, and IT operations workflows.
