Internship – Software Engineer – Global Markets Services AI Project

Join our Global Markets Services team and contribute to innovative automation initiatives supporting trading and banking operations. You will work on projects that deliver significant value in terms of time savings and efficiency, such as:

• Detection of orders not executed within a certain timeframe
• Continuous identification of buying or selling opportunities on the secondary market
• Midday recap of Forex counterparty searches

You will work at the intersection of software engineering, business operations and AI-powered automation to deliver solutions with direct and measurable impact.

YOUR ROLE

• Design and implement AI-enabled operational services improving efficiency, monitoring capabilities and workflow automation for business teams.
• Develop containerized microservices using Java Spring Boot.
• Work with Kubernetes, Helm and Kafka.
• Build automation capabilities supporting trading and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Operations teams.
• Participate in testing, deployment and production releases.
• Monitor and optimize solution performance.
• Document and maintain developed services.

YOUR PROFILE

• Master's student in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Java development skills.
• Interest in AI and automation technologies.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn financial services processes.
• Fluent in English; French is an advantage.
• Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate
