Hackathon in Lausanne

LauzHack 2026

Student-run hackathon at EPFL, running since 2016, where teams of up to four prototype a demo over a single weekend. Hacking runs from Saturday noon to Sunday noon, bookended by tech talks and team building at the start and a judging round and closing ceremony on Sunday afternoon. There is no set theme, so teams either pursue their own idea or take on one of the challenges proposed by sponsors, with prizes for the best hacks overall and per challenge. Open to students, apprentices, PhD students, and anyone who graduated within the past 24 months, with free attendance and partial travel reimbursement for those coming from outside Lausanne.
