The region's largest hackathon, running annually since 2017, packs a 48-hour build sprint into one weekend with challenges from sponsoring companies designed to spark genuinely new ideas. Open to developers, designers, and anyone with a role to play, from project management to pitching, with mentors on hand and prize money for winning teams. Free food and drinks are provided throughout, and participants are welcome to bring a sleeping bag and stay overnight.
